Casino Cage Cashier

We have 3 openings for cage cashiers for evening and overnight positions. The main duties of the cage cashier are to safeguard the assets of the casino by executing monetary transaction for guests in an accurate, professional and courteous manner and in accordance with established policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure all exchanges are accurate with Vault.
Cash all customers' slot tickets, checks, jackpots, etc. by ensuring correct
Maintain good guest relations with all internal and external guests.
Answer any and all guest related questions about the casino.
Verify and sign appropriate MTL documentations.
Keep cash drawer balanced with impress.
Validate and sort all slot tickets.
Count and cash out all casino chips to patrons.
Perform all other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Must work well with the public to present a positive and pleasant experience.
Must be able to follow all instructions, written and oral.
Must be proficient in math.
Must be able to work in a casino environment where second hand smoke, loud noises and flashing lights are present.
Must have ability to use general problem solving skills in relations to accounting style circumstances.
Must present a professional and well groomed appearance.
Must possess good organizational skills.
Must have ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
Training and
Experience:
Six (6) months of customer service experience in a casino environment or related field.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Delaware Nation office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
