Main Bank Cashier
This position acts as banker inside the vault at Casino Oklahoma. The available position is for the evening/overnight shift. Duties would include:
In charge of bankroll inside the Casino Oklahoma Vault.
Accepts deposits of cash receipts from cashiers/clerks into the Casino Oklahoma Vault.
Issues cash to cashier/clerks as needed.
Must be able to handle transaction with speed and accuracy many times in a stressful and hectic work environment.
Must keep work area and machines in the Vault clean at all times.
Reads, verifies and signs appropriate documents.
Must have machine payout tickets accurately recorded by vendor per transaction during and at the end of each shift.
As needed, fill other vault/cage staffing as needed to continue operation.
Must have basic mathematical skills, ten-key operation, and good cash handling experience.
Consults with Vault Manager and Department Supervisors at all times whenever possible.
Completion of Vault Summary Sheet for each shift.
Accepts returned cash drawer and counts down the bank for variances
Secures cash/currency to be deposited at the bank.
Must be able to walk or stand for at least 90% of their assigned shift.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have 10 key, basic mathematical skills, previous cash handling experience.
The potential employees must be 18 year of age or older.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check and must not have a felony conviction whether expunged, annulled or sealed by the court.
Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to work in a casino environment where second hand smoke, loud noises and flashing lights are present.
Training and
Experience:
Must have 1 year of banking, accounting or cashier experience required.
Must pass an annual Title 31 exam.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Delaware Nation office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
